The Legend of Zelda

I love to play The Legend of Zelda. It has to be, by far, one of the best video game series ever. As a kid i remember myself not knowing what the heck what was going whenever I played it, but i know i liked it. I was able to escape from the reality of the world and just enjoy playing as Link. I would simply run in a big field and swing the sword everywhere. Then from the field I would end up in a ranch riding a horse. Then from the ranch to a big lake to go fishing. I never caught a big fish though. I know this game seems random but that's how I played the game as a little kid. Now the i am older I am able to understand the concept.

While playing some of the games, you can get lost in the wonderful land of Hyrule. Each one of the games has its own design and its own story. Most of the games have the same story line, but nevertheless are fun to play. The point of the games is to save the world from total destruction. The game consist of many riddles and puzzles. The only way for you to beat the game is by solving them. A great game to start off with is The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time.

You play as the main protagonist Link. He is a normal kid who is chosen to save the great land of Hyrule. Princess Zelda, who is another protagonist, senses evil is coming to Hyrule. Link meets Zelda and is told to collect the three spiritual stones. With those stones, Link must acquire the Master Sword, the sword that vanquishes evil. The sword puts Link to sleep and ages him to an adult. While asleep, the land is filled with chaos. When Link awakens, his next task was to free the Sages of Hyrule and Princess Zelda from the hands of evil. With the help of the freed Sages, Link’s last challenge is to face Ganondorf, the king of evil to rescue the land and Zelda. Link defeats Ganondorf and Link is returned to his original time to prevent this from ever happening.

That is just one game. There is a total of 17 games, each with their own unique game play. Once you play one game - you will want to play the next. I have never beat all the games, but I have played all of them. For the ones that I did beat, I have played them multiple times and beat them over again. I just love to play these games. It just has its own unique style to it. The games are not only interesting, but they also have an awesome timeline to it. You have to try one game at least once.
