Moral Dilemma

Oh man. No, there is nothing here. That I see. I hate doing this when I can't find food. I have to come up with something for him to eat. I feel so bad when he doesn't eat. He looks so sad sitting there. Crap he is coming up to me. "Golo, I'm hungry". Man, I knew this was coming eventually. Let me look.

Oh ok I found some eggs. He like eggs right? That's a simple thing to make. It only takes a minuet or two.  He'll eat them with some ketchup. Oh wait he doesn't like Ketchup. He likes to eat them plain anyway. And if I add some food coloring he would want to eat them. What if he isn't in the mood for that?

Yes, I found some pancakes. He loves to eat those. It's a simple one two three process. It's is a nice hot breakfast and really good. He can eat these for days. So if we have pancakes we must have syrup. Dang it. We are out of syrup. And he can only eat the pancakes with syrup because he thinks it is too dry. Well I'll loom again

Cereal! He loves his cereal. And it doesn't even matter if it has milk or not. He can eat the most driest cereal and won't even want to have milk with it. He likes it like that.
Awesome we even got his favorite kind. Cinnamon toast crunch. So I'll give him that. But what if he isn't in the mood for that.

Well, I guess this is one of those times where I have to be an older brother. I'll make him the eggs, pancakes, and cereal. He'll eat one if not all.

Ok great he ate all of it. I guess he really was hungry. I guess finding food wasn't that bad. Maybe I'm just lazy.😅

To be a man

A note before you stat reading. I am not being sexiest, I will explain my opinion and also see it from the another point of view.

I never really knew what a man in my culture. I know my grandfathers idea and concept of how a man should be. But again that's my grandfather's opinion, not everyone else's. But in my eyes I see that a man is someone who is reliable, hardworking, brave. Could take care of his family, if they have one of their own. Proper, classy, yet fun. Oh and one major fact and is the most important to me is a man is always respectful of women.

My step father is a perfect example of how a man should act. He has been with my mother since I was 10 months. That 17 years. He is was working hard, you can trust him to do things even though he takes his time. He is mature. He knows when to be serious and and have. And he has always been there for my mother. If it wasn't for him I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be the man I am today. He is also making sure that his kids are fed, clean, and happy.

When I'm sick and my mother has to work. He makes sure that I have everything I need. He would leave just to go get medicine, or some soup and juice. He puts us first and him last.

My brother not so much of a man. He is older then me and I'm more responsible then him. He has a lot to learn to become a man.

All the qualities I list are what a man should be. If one where to live alone, he wouldn't have to worry about a thing. He would most likely have a good job and nice simple home. Now if he had a family, he still wouldn't have nothing to worry about. He has his wife and kids. He can support the family and raise his kids well. He would be a good role model to his son(s). And as far as  being part of the community, this man has a positive effect on the community.

I'm pretty sure that a lot of men value these qualities. I know I am one of them. But I feel like some of them reach a comfort zone eventually and don't become a man. I don't see a lot of men who value those qualities in my culture. And it's sad to say that. But the ones who do become a man are happy in the end and don't have a lot to worry about.

I'm my opinion when I grow up I want to be the working one in the house. I don't want my wife to work but if she wants to I'm fine with that. But if she doesn't need to then, she doesn't have to.

Loyalty and Friendship

Before I get into loyalty and friendship, I would like to say my loyalty to my family always comes first.

For limits on loyalty I defiantly won't do anything crazy no matter how close you are to me. If you tell me that you need me to hide something that you stole. You better return it because I won't help you with that. But I will have loyalty for if you need something really important, but it's for a good reason, I will have your back.

Personally I think that friendship and loyalty go hand and hand. But there is are different extents to how each person uses it. I know I have different levels of loyalty and friendship with many people. I have my best friends, then there is my group of friends that I'm really close to, then my regular friends, last there are my acquaintances. So the way I mentions my friends is the way I have my loyalty to those people.

With my best friends I am the most loyal to them. And they are the same to me. Now people may argue this with me. No to be too loyal to anyone because they won't be to you. In this case it isn't what the crazy type of loyalty where they would ask me to help them do something bad and vise versa. But as in if I have food I will share with you so you don't starve, or if you need help with something I can help you.

With my group of friends they come second. I will help them out when they need it. But I won't share my food. But in all seriousness I am there for them when I need it. And I will always ask them what they are doing and if they are not doing anything I ask them to hang out.

With my regular friends and acquaintances I will give them the respect that they deserve and just help them when ever they need to.
